Zeiss Ikon is a German camera manufacturer that was formed in 1926 and was once a world market leader in creating 8mm movie cameras and was also one of the biggest camera manufacturing companies. One of the most iconic product lines that Zeiss Ikon created was Zeiss Nettar range. From 1933 to 1934 the camera had a hexagonal shutter panel. From 1934 to 1951 it had a round shutter plate, and from 1937 to 1951 the Nettar logo changed to Zeiss Ikon. The camera uses 120 roll film (6×9cm exposures), weighed 650 grams and the dimensions folded are 155 x 80 x 42 mm. The Nettar series by Zeiss Ikon was a successful range of self-erecting folding cameras for 120 roll film.
